S. Lucas achieves BuildingConfidence accreditation

S. Lucas has become one of the first companies to gain accreditation under BuildingConfidence, a construction industry scheme organised and run by Achilles, an independent company that evaluates and monitors businesses in the supply chain. The tough pre-qualification audit reviewed and evaluated our management systems to ensure they meet the requirements of our large industry clients in terms of health and safety, sustainability, environmental, corporate and social responsibility, quality and financial information. We will be subject to an annual audit by Achilles which will be extended to cover Lucas Fit Out and the rest of our group businesses. As a result of our accreditation we are now pre-qualified with a number of major companies in the building and construction sector including Bovis Lend Lease, British Land, Davis Langdon, Mace, Shepherd Construction and Skanska. Danny Lucas, Managing Director of S. Lucas, said: “This was an extremely thorough assessment of our management systems and on-site standards of care and attention. We are pleased to have achieved this industry pre- qualification standard which more and more client companies now require of their suppliers.”
