Lucas Fit Out has completed a fast-track fit out programme to provide a new Heathrow base for the company that maintains all the airport’s baggage belts and baggage handling equipment. HAL Connections and Baggage had to move out of Terminal 2 which is being demolished, and into Terminal 3 as part of BAA’s reorganisation programme in preparation for building the new Terminal 2 at Heathrow. The company’s new home for its 100 employees is the former offices of United Airlines. Lucas Fit Out was brought in by contractor Mace to complete a 12 week strip out, refit and handover. Our team completed new floors, walls and ceilings, fitted new toilets, showers and a stainless steel kitchen and provided a full decorations service. Lucas Fit Out was also responsible for the logistics of the project including welfare on site, all signage and security.
